We are 'Love Willesborough'
Loving THIS community
A team of people who are committed to loving the area we live in and serving those who live here. Love Willesborough exists to love and bless our community. All of our projects are aimed at improving wellbeing, increasing confidence, building community and mobilising more people to help others.
We run out of Willesborough Baptist Church, but anyone who is passionate about our community can be on the team - get in touch!

Recent projects
In the last year, we have reached out to over 1,000 people in our community
Happy Monday: January 2023
A community meal for over 50 people, aimed at people who might be alone otherwise, or families who need a space to eat together - the idea was to counteract "Blue Monday" but now we hope to run more community meals throughout the course of the year so watch this space to sign up for the next one! Look out for "Together Tuesdays"
December 2022: Family Hampers
We made 50 hampers consisting of presents for each member of the family, a board game, hot chocolate/marshmellows, chocolates, to give out to families in local schools in order for them to be able to create memories over Christmas time!
Family, Food and Fun
We love running Family, Food and Fun (Mondays each school holiday) - events where families can come together with their children, make memories and do crafts and play games - all completely free of charge - and then eat a delicious home-cooked meal together. At our most recent session in February 2023, we fed 106 people which was amazing!
A Very Messy Christmas: December 2022
We welcomed almost 400 people through the doors through two sessions of "A Very Messy Christmas" - where we had mulled wine, a petting zoo with animals, lots and lots of crafts, hot food available, a Nativity Photo-booth in a stable, and The Well was also open, serving drinks and cakes throughout the day!
Finding Jesus: Christmas 2022
We made and hid almost 500 Baby Jesus Rocks around Ashford, encouraging people to re-hide them once they found them and then take them home the closer it got to Christmas - people had a lot of fun doing this!
Craft Fayres 2022
Nov 2022: The Christmas Fayre was a roaring success with lots of people coming along and beginning their Christmas shopping early! We served around 200 people with cakes and drinks, and the main hall was full of stalls. Spring 2022: Our first craft fayre was well attended by the community - raising money for Love Willesborough, selling out of cakes and even having an ice-cream van come and visit on a beautifully warm day!
