The Book of Joel

We are living in the time between Pentecost and ‘The great and terrible day of the Lord’ when Jesus will return. Joel speaks of this time as being a time when followers of God will dream dreams, see visions and prophesy. Is that your experience of Christian life? If not, why not? Perhaps you are running low on oil - what can we do to keep our lamps burning bright? Do we need to? Surely history shows us that we can live any way we want because God will forgive us anyway. What does Jesus say about that?
