Let us rejoice today and be glad

Dear church family

In Psalm 118 in verse 24 it says, 'Let us rejoice today and be glad.' To rejoice is to feel or show great joy or delight. In today's weekly update I want to share some things I hope we can rejoice in together (there are many more things to rejoice in, I'm just going to highlight a few) and some things to be praying for.

R E J O I C E…
  • We are taking 20 young people to Big Church Festival this weekend. We rejoice that God has blessed us with so many young people, children and babies, each one is so precious to our family.
  • We are celebrating all the beautiful cultures in our church family two weeks on Sunday; we rejoice that God has blessed our church family with members from many nations.
  • For the many who volunteer and serve in different areas including helping with the community day, you are such a blessing! We rejoice that we can run events like the community day which was an incredible day.
  • For our amazing worship team who bless us every Sunday with Christ-centered and Spirit-filled worship. We rejoice that we can worship freely and have a team that cultivates and encourages freedom in how they lead.
  • Most importantly we rejoice in the King of Kings who is so worthy of our praise and adoration.

P R A Y…
  • For a smooth and straight forward weekend for the leaders and young people camping at Big Church Festival.
  • That every young person will have an encounter the Holy Spirit this weekend and that we see more committing their lives to Jesus.
  • For those in exam/essay season which is full on and stressful – that they will find pockets of rest and God will fill them with peace and joy.
  • That we will continue to be aware of what God is saying over our church and be obedient to Him.
Lots of love,
